who would have thought that starting a blog was actually not that easy?
sure, it's all just a few clicks, but those few clicks are intercepted by words, not just any words, KEY words. words that will bring the flock back to your blog, words that will catch the eye of the typical browsing mind, words that will make you feel like writing another post, words that make you feel like a brand, amidst the millions of cyber-users and avid bloggers out there.

mind you, i do not consider myself a blogger by any means. to say i'm a blogger is expecting too much of myself, but i think i can get there. why the hell not? what's a blogger anyway? someone who logs their daily babblings to show off their intellect [or lack thereof] to the world?
maybe i don't want to be a blogger then. or, do i?

maybe i just want this to be an open forum for discussion, for pondering, for creativity, for people, for you, for me.
mostly for you, but definitely also for me.

with all the ugly in the world, it's good to think of what still makes life exciting.
it makes our work days go faster, our weekends go slower, and our dreams just that much more fantastical.

now that i think about it some more...i think this blog will be about people.
it'll be about people and how people talk to people. how people don't talk to people.
how people want people to be other people. and why people still don't accept people.
but it'll also be about you, and about me...and about all of us. yeah, society.
it'll be about everything you think about in your moments of daydreaming, or quiet thought while driving/riding home, but never ask, or never tell.

like for example, why people don't help people.
why not help save darfur?
or, if you're gonna mute al gore and david suzukis speeches from your tivo and focus on the loud tunes anyway, why not at least plant a tree in your OWN yard, let alone someone elses?
sure, we may be a small insignificant dot outside of this atmosphere, but inside of it there are over 6 billion of us consuming every last bit of it and making it our own. some with better results than others. blah.
but hey, i'm not here to point fingers. and i'm not here to get worldly and patronizing either. or to tell you to put more matcha into everything you consume.
who am i to tell you what to do, anyway. i'm just like you, taking things one day at a time.


it'll be about music. old music, new music, silly music, deep music... and the effect it has on you, and me, and people, and society.
maybe even the economy, how about that?

sometimes i think this can also be a really silly place for silly things that us people do.
i'm not talking youtube. i'm talking the silly things we do and the exciting things we do and the funny things we do. because we are people. and we all go unnoticed sometimes, and we all love a little recognition sometimes. so why not pat each other on the back?

this blog is about exciting things. it's about passionate things. it's about new things. it's about accomplishments, it's about encouragements, it's about identities, it's about personalities.
it's about what makes you wake up in the morning and get excited all over again.
it's a good place to be, really.
after all, we're just everyday people.
